Vision and Mission of the Presidency

The vision of the President of the Republic is for Cyprus to become a free, modern and distinguished member of the international and European community, which improves the daily lives of its citizens in all areas. The Presidency of the Republic operates in such a way as to contribute to the realization of this vision.

In connection with the above, the mission of the Presidency of the Republic is the provision of contemporary, efficient and effective supporting tools that will enable the realization of the vision of the President, as well as of the Council of Ministers and the Presidency Officials, regarding Cyprus’ national issue, foreign policy and internal governance.

Officials of the Presidency of the Republic
The Presidency of the Republic is structured based on the functions of these Officials, who assist the President of the Republic and the administrative, secretariat and support staff required to facilitate their work, as follows:

· Deputy Minister to the President
· Government Spokesman / Deputy Government Spokesman
· Director of the Office of the President of the Republic
· Commissioners (responsible for various matters)
· Negotiator on the Cyprus problem
· Representative of the Greek Cypriot Community in the Committee on Missing Persons in Cyprus (CMP)

It should be noted that the staff serving at the Presidential Palace and the offices of the Officials of the Presidency, are headed by the Chief of Administration of the Presidency.
