Referring to Turkey’s illegal activities in the Exclusive Economic Zone of both Cyprus and Greece, he said he was particularly pleased to ascertain that “the leaders of the Mediterranean states will make use of their relations and exert their influence on Turkey so that it realizes that it must terminate its illegal actions and cooperate through an honest and comprehensive dialogue, always on the basis of international law, in order to find solutions that would provide prosperity to our peoples”.

After the Summit, the leaders of the EU MED 7 countries adopted a Joint Declaration, which can be found here.
